This exact purse has been sold, but I have more copies of the book and you can have it custom made with your choice of fabrics. There will be a 2-3 week wait to receive the purse.
This book purse is made from Nathaniel Hawthorne's classic "The Scarlet Letter." The cover is a light grey, and the spine is a dark burgundy. The letter "A" is featured prominently in a beautiful gothic script. The interior is fully lined in a vintage quilting fabric older than I am, from my mother's quilting collection.

The handles are made with striped burgundy acrylic beads on a gold metal frame, and the purse closes with a vintage plastic button and grosgrain ribbon loop. When not in use, the handles may be folded inside the purse and you can store it on a bookcase just like a real book.
There is a narrow pocket inside perfect for a slim phone or wallet, and the spine is reinforced for durability.
The dimensions are approximately 9.25" long, 1.25" wide, 6" tall, and the handles are 6" wide by 4" tall.
